The Challenges:
The main challenge involved working at height while handling heavy-duty cables. This required careful planning to maintain safety standards and manage the logistical difficulties of lifting and positioning the cables securely.
The Process:
The team drew on previous experience with similar installations to create a safe and efficient workflow. Scissor lifts were used to overcome the challenges of working at height and to manoeuvre the heavy cables into place. Throughout the process, close collaboration with fridge engineers ensured that the commissioning phase was smooth and that the system integrated seamlessly with the refrigeration equipment.
The Outcome:
The installation was completed safely and efficiently, with all safety protocols followed. The system was successfully commissioned in partnership with the fridge engineers, and everything is now operating correctly, providing a dependable power supply for the chill stores and fridge panels.
